32AT in classifieds with Green/Blue Flames

Someone shot me a message earlier this week asking if I had any info on this boat. Now, I can't find the message.

My apologies. Whoever contacted me, please do so again in the same fashion or at ActiveThunderAVH(a)aol.com

Thanks!

Brian,

I am talking to one of my buddy's in Chi town about this boat. Any info would be great. He is interested in 28's and 32's. Hope all is well.

Andy

How fast? How many hours? What is the condition of the boat, 1-10. 10 being a brand new 08. Does it the the blower scoops? Fresh motors, please explain, new top end or total rebuild. That should do it for now?

Thanks,

MM

The flames are stickers, not paint. The boat ran with us in the Alex Bay run in 05 & possibly 06. He is from PA and rebuilt the motors not too long ago. As for the 1-10, hard to recall, but I'd say it was a 6-7, best I can recall. Just my opinion....Btw my 99' 28 twin is in the classies, check it out.

96scarab 08-25-2007 02:48 PM

Thats a $hit load of stickers! Price sounds kind of steep for a 1999, 6 or 7 out of 10.

Griff 08-25-2007 04:11 PM

IMO, "asking" price is where it should be. the Fresh power and boxes add some value.

I agree, the Flames are too much and are not going to help the sale. I think they've been on a while, so there will probably be some fade visible if they are removed.

boatinggrl 08-26-2007 10:41 AM

They are paint, I know 100%

spilman 08-26-2007 04:28 PM

That sucks....for resale I mean...when we talked to them in 05 I saw the boat up close and I was told they were new "stickers"; oh well, my bad.

cosmic12 08-26-2007 04:42 PM

It sure looks like paint in the pics to me:o

Sydwayz 08-26-2007 04:44 PM

Pat told me he built the boat for a car dealer in New Your originally; and that the guy would have his detail guys go over it on a regular basis.

ACTIVESHACK 08-26-2007 05:29 PM

That paint job would look better on a Harley than it does on a AT :evilb:

I believe you are thinking of the AT with plain blue stickers on it that was very similar looking. I think it was a 28 though. It's been on here for sale a couple of times, with varying degrees of the stickers still on it.

rssteiny 08-27-2007 04:08 PM

paint or stickers that is way to much of either. thats my 2 cents

R Addiction 08-28-2007 10:11 AM

Its paint....he lives within an hour of me. I'd go with a high 6 on the scale.

R Addiction 08-28-2007 10:11 AM

He uses the boat.....it ain't no garage queen:cool-smiley-011:

Actually I was mixing them up; we did run "with" this particular 32 and it was fast, right @ 100 just after he built some 800hp motors. We were way back in the pack, actually last I think, but we get good cards and have a blast every year.... so there!
But you were right, I was thinking about the 28 single 500efi boat with the "stickers"....ooops again.

Chris are thinking about the 32 that has THUNDER STRUCK in big blue letters down the sides?? I know that boat was at the 1000 islands last year and I was told it was there this year also. It used to belong to a guy here in Syr.

Thunder Toy 08-30-2007 11:01 AM

Thunder Struck is our boat, and yes it was at both runs.

spilman 08-30-2007 07:32 PM

Hey Thunder Toy, Yeah we saw you guys in the 1000 Islands run; we were spectating from our deckboat @ Brockville area. We didn't see you at the A-Bay run...were you there?
