I work on them all so i get to test drive them and my f350 psd runs circles around the chevy, and when sitting beside a chevy my f350 makes it look like a s10. but if they get the boat to the water and back thats what really matters.:D

My 04F350 is in the shop for lof and fuel filters today. The dealer is a friend of mine and let me take an 08F350 Crew cab as a loaner. Holy Chit what a difference!! My 04 is all muscle and has no problem towing Remedy, but can't compare to the luxurious ride and feel of the new 08's. Plus you can hear my 6.0 PSD from a mile away. The new motor is so quiet I wasn't sure I was in a diesel when I first started it.

Already looking at the brochure to select my options come spring. :D

spilman 11-06-2007 07:42 PM

Yeah, It is amazing. I've told a few people how nice the 08's are, but when you experience it you get it.
I love my Lariat crew 6.4 4x4; turned over 18k miles today.

My 04 6.0 is a beast and has 93k on it. It's a real "truck".

I hated returning the 08 today.

SL, let me know if you have any questions....glad to help if I can. Only downer is the fuel consumption. My 05 got 18 hw, 14 towing, this truck gets 16 hw, 11 towing; give or take.
Also, the factory gps/dvd/touch-screen stereo is by Pioneer & it is awesome.

Yeah, maybe they'll fix the fuel consumption for 09. The power is awesome though.

spilman 11-06-2007 08:46 PM

Quiet power....I was just saying that today with the guy who bought my 05' in the 08' with me. Great acceleration,...still getting used to the exhaust incineration cycle...weird.

OK, Back to Rick's 32 AT. This boat has been for sale forever so what's the deal? Why hasn't it sold? Looks like Rick has an awesome boat. Someone PM me.

spilman 11-08-2007 07:50 AM

Sorry for the highjack!
I think Rick just put Audacity up for sale last month....used boats just aren't selling; price is really not the issue, or so it seems.

Trust me, it was NOT for sale in the Spring. He had it listed last Fall and relisted it again a few weeks ago.
