I spent 2 hours and $200 in gas trying to find you guys. I left Paul's number at home like an idiot. I stopped to ask 3 fishermen where to go and I don't think any of them knew what they were talking about. I did see AERO EXPRESS come flying out of a cove but he headed east...solo, so I didnt think he was with the group.

We were out at Block Island on Sunday. What a day. Rhode Island sound was laying flat thanks to the Westerly wind....a rarity. Spent the rest of the afternoon in Newport. :D:drink: |
Sorry we missed the run. First weekend of the season at the Marina and there was NO way we could pull away.

After passing Hempstead Harbor(where glen cove is) there is a light house on execution rocks, and another lighthouse (on a pile of rocks) off great neck, stepping stone lighthouse. If you made it to throgs neck, then you passed both of them. Well, at least you had a nice ride on a quiet day on the sound. I was out on a friends boat from 12-3, and there were very few boats out. |
