Well, a gps is a nice thing to have. ;)
After passing Hempstead Harbor(where glen cove is) there is a light house on execution rocks, and another lighthouse (on a pile of rocks) off great neck, stepping stone lighthouse.
If you made it to throgs neck, then you passed both of them.

Well, at least you had a nice ride on a quiet day on the sound.
I was out on a friends boat from 12-3, and there were very few boats out.
