Hi my name is Chris and I’m an AT & OSO addict. Hopefully the first step is admitting that I have a problem not that I’m looking to be cured.

Thanks for the welcome. I have been an AT owner for 4+ years and an OSO lurker for a lot longer than that. Thanks Paul for posting my personal info and drawing me out of the shadows.

We are currently in NY and would like to thank Paul & George for a great day yesterday. Driving our old boat and our new boat in 70 degree weather – it doesn’t get much better than that in April. We’ve had an absolute blast in our 25 over the years but can’t wait for the season to start with the new 28.

We’re off to the city today to do a little rubber necking then it’s back to Wisconsin tomorrow morning. Here’s hoping the 28 trailers as nice as the 25 over those 1000 miles. We’ll post photos when we get back home.

Thanks again for the welcome –

Chris

Yes, Winnebago/Wolf River and Green Lake and usually at least one long week-end on the Mississippi. How about you?

Also, didn't you used to have a Fox logo avatar? Just wondering if you're a rider too? I have a CR250 for the days that are to cold for the water. My boy rides a KX100.

Chris, yes that was me.

We boat mostly out on the Mighty Missi as my wife and I are born river rats. We have many friends out that way that we hang with as well. I have been to Winni and the River but prefer the Missi. Never been to Green but here it is a big deep lake.

I have three boys (now 17,15,13) and we all ride. I just recently sold all the bikes for wheelers. Had KX250, YZ85, XR80, KX65, Z50. Now into 400ex's. We ride Hurley and BRF quite a bit. My boys are excellent riders and I have trouble keeping up with them :).

Next time you are thinking about a river trip, send me a note.

Chris, Sharp boat, congrats. Be careful on Green Lake, my buddy received a noise violation there last year with a 496 with Dana exhaust, it seems the property owners bought decibel meters for the lake police so they could get rid of the noisy boaters! I'm sure your aware of it since it's in your backyard. I know for a fact that your 525 has quite a bark! Hope to see you on the water this season! Steve

Yes, it's true that the lake association did buy a DB meter for the police. I got picked up two years ago in our 25 and had to put mufflers on it. You're also right about the bark on the 525 - we'll either be spending some coin on mufflers or spending more time on Winnebago. Last year we saw a 42 Fountain about to launch at the Green Lake Marina and before he could start it the police said "you put it in the water and you're getting a ticket for noise" the police also said that "we don't want boats like theirs on this lake." Here's hoping that he likes 28 ATs.

Chris

An attitude like that would just about piss me off!!! Give em a gun a badge and a beat stick and they become super cops!! Sorry, just can't stand it when they think they are above everyone else. And no disrespect to any law officers on the board.:party-smiley-004:

I have heard many fishin boats that have no mufflers and are just as loud as any gofast, they never seem to get hassled:party-smiley-004:

Downtown42 05-03-2008 05:42 PM

Green Lake has some very expensive real estate.... money = power. I have no interest in going there.
