At an almost $800.00 entry fee, it was a big hardware show.

We were not in the PR but did have a fun run out to Block Island for lunch today.

Here's a few shots.

No, me and a few friends threw a 100 person party out on one of our island hangouts. Maybe I will run Glen Cove.

Hey Dan, nice meeting you and putting a face to the name. BTW, nice work on the throttles and thanks for taking Artie out with you to film us.

Hey Paul, any chance you could shoot us the pics you took of us leaving BI harbor? My kids would love them.

Steve

That is crazy for an entry fee $800.00. I guess that is why Jammin on the James is one of the best in the country. Could you imagine what we could do if we were to charge that. CRAZY !!!!!!!
What do they offer for your entry fee??
Just trying to get more info on other runs.
Thanks

Haven't entered one to find out, but from what I've seen and heard, it doesn't come close to JOTJ. Only 30-35 boats and all 35' and bigger. Completely took the little guy out of it.

yep, all heavy hitters.
i was the only boat under 30' there. i think.
still had fun spankin a 30' plus twin engine FAJA there

OL40SVX 08-18-2008 04:13 PM

At the PRA events are where all the big boys show up and run. The events are very nice. For Tri-State we had about 45 boats i think. Then 2 weekends ago there were 90 up at 1000 Islands. I do agree the fees are high as well as extra crew fee's but they are some of the best runs around and you get to run with the top boats out there.
