Do you have the white two piece rubrail?
If so, its more than likely this: http://www.tacomarine.com/cat--Rub-R...rail_kits.html You may consider moving to a Stainless Steel rubrail as an upgrade. |
Thats what my plan is.

Griff, I have a 20' piece that Pat gave me by mistake.....you can have it if you want. It is the white 1-7/8" & my 28 uses the 1-3/8" so I don't need it.

Hey Griff, you still need the rub-rail? It's yours if you don't mind paying the shipping. Just pm me your address. Chris |

Thanks for the offer, but I don't need any. Mine is in good shape. I was just responding to original post.

I used rubrails.com and found an exact match. Probably need to do it again since it has been a while. The rubrails have to be shipped as freight due to their length so take that into account for planning and $$.

rub rail
thanks for the offer, I have not decided on exactly what im going to use. I did like the stainless insert look. Has anyone had any luck cleaning it with anything, About the only way I see with how hard it is will be to sand it out and try polishing it.

BTW, the 20' piece I have is an exact match from AT. |
I had a piece that I replaced on the Pantera that had been coiled for about 3 years. It was a beotch to get straightened out.
You can clean the rubrail with Acetone. Acetone will remove small scuffs and rub marks. Wax it after you're done. |
