Weather protection
I have a 1994 32 Active Thunder and I'm having trouble keeping water from pooling on the boat cover over the cabin hatches. Has anyone found a product that keeps the cover higher than the hatches so the water will flow towards the sides of the boat? If so could you advise where I can find the product at and its cost?

I saw one guy throw an upside down styrofoam cooler over the hatch. it protected water from getting in the hatch and raised the cover so that the rainwater would drain off the deck.

Throw a couple of styrofoam noodles under the cover, one over each hatch, lengthwise. That ought to remedy the water pooling.

I use my garage:D:D
I would use something as suggested to lift the cover higher. Just make sure its something that won't leave a stain. |
RQuest, Where in MD are you from? We are from Tomes on the Susquehanna.

I take my two square throw cushions and put one on top of the hatch closes to the cockpit. The other one I put between that hatch and were the snaps start for the cockpit cover. Works great. Creates enough lift that water rolls off to the sides and down the bow of the boat.
