Thunderdan

It looks like your boat maybe done in the near future, where are you keeping it? I have been following your progress on your boat and the opinions on the boat close and saw somewhere that you were offering to take people out for rides. I hope you do not mind me asking but I would love a ride. I am thinking of looking at the 37avh at the AT factory, but would like to see one and ride in one first before I go down to Fla. My friend has an outerlimits with a pair of 625 hp motors and the boat runs great. I am very familiar with the ride as I am always sitting shotgun. I saw in your post on the main board that you rode in one and was wondering how you thought it rode. My buddy said he would love to run a bit with you and see what your AT can do. :D :D It looks like you are getting 500 efi's and xr drives, is that correct? What type of top speed you think you will get? It is a nice looking boat. ;)

Diesel,
My boat should be done and in the water in about a month weather permitting. Where do you live? It is going to be kept in Long Beach Island along the New Jersey shore. My offer stands on taking you out for a ride, I only ask one thing, you must bring a woman passenger with you.:p Just kidding. The entire process has been great dealing with Pat and Steve they have really been great to work with. They really do build an ass kickin boat. If you want you can come out for a ride whenever you want with me or give Steve at AT a call at 954-782-1111. Also let your buddy in the Outerlimits know that I would love to ride with him. If you want give me a call at my office at 856-767-5159 if you have any questions. What other boats are you looking at?:D

Dan- Long Beach Island brings back some memories!
Our family used to go there for a week every summer when we lived in Jersey (Tenafly, many, many years ago). Stayed at a friend's bungalo in Ship Bottom.

TD - what if someone promises to bring 2 REALLY hot women?

thunderdan 03-12-2002 09:57 AM

Screamin-

Well I guess I will have to make an exception, you can never have too many women on your boat, that is unless my wife is aboard with me. :D :D

thunderdan 03-12-2002 07:33 PM

Diesel,

where did you go. I got Eickert 575 in my thunder now so I will be giving your buddy a run for his money. Give me a call to arrange your tour date in Jersey.:D :D PS. we running on my turf...just kidding:p :D :D

thunderdan 03-12-2002 07:34 PM

Jafo,

I have been running along lbi for the last 15 years.:D :D Man do I love that place.:D :D

Jassman 03-12-2002 08:57 PM

THOSE GUYS LEFT US, AND SKYPIRATE WENT ON THE CIG BOARD AND POSTED THE SAME ON THE GEN BOARD, PROBABLY NOT GETTING ENOUGH CIG RESPONSES, AND WHAT DO YOU KNOW, THEY SLAMMED US, NO CLASS AT ALL, THATS REALLY UNFORTUNATE, DID YOU KNOW DAN, IT TAKES TWO THUNDER TO EQUALL A CIG:p LIKE HE WENT FOR A RIDE OR EVEN SAW A THUNDER.:D

thunderdan 03-12-2002 09:06 PM

Man what a shame, Goofy? That is honestly the first time I have ever been called goofy?

Jassman 03-13-2002 07:57 AM

Hey Goofy,- A.T. DAN, I anwsered a Q's for you on the Gen. Board, on the Cig vs A.T. section, again, without slamming the competitors. Its amazing how we can be respectful, and those guys are not, especially the ones that havent been for a ride, we'll show em at the poker runs:D

29scarab 03-13-2002 08:27 AM

Hey JASSAN!!!

Do you know what the weight difference is going to be when your boat is done compared to a Cig of the same size???

Just trying to do a little comparison here. I've taken a ride on a buddy of mines, Thunder Roy down here in Texas. The ride is Awesome!!!

:D :D :D

Jassman 03-13-2002 01:57 PM

Hey 29Scarab, in mid 2001 and 2002 the step has been slightly modified as well as the pad, the ride is even softer and slightly faster, how much not certain. The approx. weight of my boat will be between 8300-8600. , loaded out with tv/dvd, full head, fridge, mico, ac/heat and generator, as well as the new millenium interiors. I am not certain of the weight of a simular size Cigarette, liked you asked. What I am familiar about is the ride on a 2000 model when I was there for a demo, and I take Pats word that the new one will ride even better, the 2000 model to me was awesome, but Pat is always trying to be perfect, and loves everything to be as fined tooned as possible, 100% of the time. :D

DIESELBRI64 03-13-2002 08:14 PM

No I am still around. I was just out of town for a few days. I saw you went up to 675 now. That sounds like your boat will haul. I live in Maryland and will try and get down to LBI for a ride. My friend does not trailer his Outerlimits so it may be difficult for him to ride with us.

thunderdan 03-13-2002 09:13 PM

You are welcome anytime. Just shoot me an e-mail when you are interested in coming up for a ride. Now with my 675's I may just come to you and your friend with the outerlimits and go for that ride. I will be more than happy to show him what my Active Thunder can do.:D :D :p :p :D
