Thunderstorm gets a new heartbeat
 

Well guys, the ole Thunderdan makes his last revision. I dropped the 500 efi's and upgraded to Kieth Eickert 575's. Yep you heard it correct. What a great motor, I can later down the rode for less than 5k upgrade to 675's. Look out the Thunderstorm is ripping across the Atlantic Ocean. :D :D

And I stayed with the XR drives, incase any of you were wondering.:D :D

Dan Good move what base is the 575 built on and is it naturally aspirated or blown?

Natural, and the best part id it is the exact engine as the super charged 675 without the blower. So the engine is ready for upgrade, without any internal mods.

What drives are you going with for the 675s?

I say just do the 100sc's with 6's and be done should be a 125mph ride and cruise at 100:D

That's why i havent jumped yet I cant afford to go where I want to go and i will just be happy with my 90mph 32 thuinder until i can.


Now that I am divorced that may be in the near future.

I am staying with the xr drives. Now if we can just figure out how to get those badboys under the hatch that has laready been made.:eek:

Put the hatch on the next boat that doesn't have blower motors and make a new hatch like those on Velocity, Cigarette and Hustler for yours. Basically a hatch where the entire thing is raised and then covered with a sunpad except for the leading edge behind the headrests on the bench seat, where you can cut an opening for air induction. Seems to me that of the 7 or 8 boats behind yours, some are being built with non-blower motors and since each boat would have the same hatch, built from the same mold, they can use the brand new hatch in a month or so on another boat. It's not like the brand new hatch wouldn't work on another boat.

I hear ya Miller, hopefully, maybe. Pat is working on it. I sprung it on them this AM.:eek: :D :D

They are making me a custom hatch for the same motors, its in the mold, or use scoops, but then your naked girlfriend, (oops) couldnt lay on their sideways.:D

Not a real fan of the scoops as you already know. My wife and kids love the sunpad. Where we boat we anchor and my wife and kids lays out there all the time. I am sure Pat will come up with something. Maybe I can use the same type of hatch design you are going for.;) :D :D

Maybe the bribary will take a turn to the ole THUNDERDAN...;) :D

TBIKINI, not only a used hatch, but probably 2 used motors as well, heheheheh:p

Now wait a minute, those motors have not been run yet, the hatch is brand spakin(yes I said spakin) new, and Pat has not even Christen the sunpad yet. :p :D :D
