The good thing is, if the boat's still available the price should be a lot lower!

CanDo 02-09-2009 12:04 PM

An AT race boat????? This I gotta see!

Thunderstruck 02-09-2009 12:23 PM

Why is this coming up? Good news is that there are only 156 payments of $791.77 left or $123,516. What a deal.

Wild 02-09-2009 12:23 PM

how do people find this old stuff, i think the boat is in OK somewhere

glad there is still some interest :drink:

KAAMA 02-09-2009 04:37 PM

One Vision Racing
There were two other Factory 1 race boats, (Chaos, and Active Thunder Racing). Plus the Factory 2 boat, (FastLane), then a 37 <?> with crazy power and #6 drives. There may be more, but those come to mind first.

Gordo 02-11-2009 04:51 PM

[Outlaw! That's it!

do you know if these boats where rigged for racing from the factory, or just converted by the owners? And yours?

Gordo 02-11-2009 05:35 PM

I'm pretty sure Chaos was a pleasure built boat that Neville started racing, and did very well with, (1998Central Div Champ) Mine was one of the first boats actually built to race F- 1 according to APBA Factory class rules. There was another one thet went to the Northeast
(ActiveThunder Racing). Then mine, Then Fastlane, then Outlaw.

The Active Thunder Racing Tantrum was the first AT I saw in person. The Smith Bros. had it in Medford (?) N.J. HP500 carb with a Bravo on a box. Needless to say I was sold. Coming up on 10 years and I still love this boat. Notice the smiles in the picture and the good water!! Eatin it up!

Pat, Next time I stop by I'll join you for a cold on. We had a 1200 mile straight thru drive ahead of us:mad:

Gordo, How are you doing? Key West was good I figure?

No, it was a pleasure boat iwth F-2 decals. Wild had it in the classifieds when the thread was new a couple years ago. Teal and purple standard type AT graphics.

JUPITER PULSARE 02-12-2009 02:39 PM

The original owner of Audacity built his 32 with the anticipation of running F2 class if I remember correctly...

That would be Joe Skroki who now throttles the JBS Mystic turbine boat. It was a 100% pleasure boat, with a lot of stuff that F2 boats have, and he dialed in like a race boat. He had other race boats.

Yes he did a great job with audacity at dialing it in, when i first bought it from him is would run 87 mph on gps all day and thats good for a 32 with 500 hps, just emailed joe the other day on getting some ideas and parts to refresh the 500s , hoping to see 90 plus this spring.

If you are talking about the boat that this thread was started for I don't think it is.

I believe Randy sold it, got it back and sold it again since this thread was started a few years ago. I believe the original posting was sometime in 2002.

I thought it was a lot of money for an 11 year old boat... did not see 2002...
