I have a little piece of a 2x4 that is just small enough to fit through the hub opening for tapping them back on.
I tried to put in Monsoon on the Chickahominy River a few miles up river from Mark's place. Seems as though the full moon last night created the lowest of low tides at the exact moment I was trying to launch. It didn't go so well. Mark is able to use that ramp at any tide, but apparently not THIS low tide today. I had to pull it back up the ramp with the boat about 12" back on the trailer, and wait a couple hours. One engine overheating. (simple fix) Hit a stump yesterday with the Mini-Hawk. (wanted a new prop anywayz.) And now a trailer cluster today. I hope I'm finished with these "issues" for this season. Guess I'll cut a piece of 2x4 tomorrow and stick it in my tool box. |

The Chick goes a few miles further then Marks? How tight does that get. Other then those bass boats whipping by I don't know if I would want to venture to much further up past his house.
What size 2x4 should I cut for my tool box...... and even though I am going to get flamed for this... Does anyone want to point out any other tools I should be carrying? Also:*Note to self buy a tool box* Better ask and be safe then sorry later on. |

2) Belts always should have belts 3) set (maybe just one) cheap backup prop/s 4) Fluids..both for the engine/drives but more important for you. 5) A big long tow rope 6) and GAS..plenty of GAS ..you should never leave home without it..or else you will need the rope.:evilb: |
