Does anyone know the history on this boat? Calling Sydwayz. Seems to be a heck of a deal.

cosmic12 04-23-2009 02:27 PM

Great deal!!!! Another 16 17k for a Myco and ya got it all.
I can only wish.

Sending our guy to give us the report on current condition. It was decent but a little dirty a couple of years ago. A guy in FLA bought it but there was an issue with a bank loan. Hence the repo....

drpete3 04-23-2009 08:39 PM

What kind of money could have it? When they had an OL somone told me they may take 1/2 of the starting bid price

bsebesy 04-23-2009 10:13 PM

Very unlikely it will go that low. The listed price is usually close to low retail value. If the boat is a good buy with a lot of interest it will probably sell close to or above that number. If it dosen't sell in 2-3 months, then you may be able to get a substantial deal.

Is this the Quantico boat I looked at before buying mine? If not, it is a sister boat. If so, it has definitely had a lot of work done to it. The one I looked at sure needed it.

These fire sales are killing our values!

Are you saying that if this is the boat you looked at that it was in bad shape at the time? If so, how bad?

They sure are :angry-smiley-044:

Sydwayz 04-24-2009 09:33 AM

Yep, it was in bad shape when Macklin looked at it. It was rode hard and put away wet, literally; often. Macklin bought a new AT instead. Read into that what you like.

I think I remember Pat telling me about this boat when I went down to tour AT. If I remember correctly, it was a young kid that had a lot of $$$$$ and didn't really care whether he took care of the boat or not. It spent a LOT of time outdoors with no cover. It's hard to believe someone would treat a boat like that.......especially an AT!!

customryder 04-24-2009 01:10 PM

how much is new int?

Sydwayz 04-24-2009 04:08 PM

$15-20K SWAG depending on what you want.

crb76 04-24-2009 09:54 PM

That boat is priced right because it will cost you 50K to get it right! WET, WET, WET!!!!!! Outside and uncovered for 4 years. Mackin saw it.

Good redo or project!

Macklin 04-27-2009 06:13 AM

OH yeah...we were all over it. It was very wet. Guy said he had a full cover for it, but why he never put it on is a mystery.

It looks to me like the cabin has been redone. I really don't remember the dark accents on the couches. I'll have to dig up the pics BillR took to see.
