Choice is yours. Most go for the cabin liner.

Non-liner boat can be heavier or lighter than a liner boat depending on what you want in the cabin.

You need AC/Heat, Pump-Out Head, and a few 110V outlets for a coffeemaker and cell phone charger. That's it. Nobody uses the microwave and hardly anyone uses a fridge in a true go-fast.

Huh? Pat told me going non-liner shaved about 700 pounds. And makes for slightly larger cabin.

But, you are right about the fridge. I have probably used it twice in three years. If I were to do it again I would go with the cooler. And you won't have to deal with the door coming open. :angry-smiley-038:

I do use the microwave to heat up water for coffee in the morning.

The liner weighs somewhere around 700 lbs & you are right on size. If you don't put the liner in the boat, yes you do save that weight, but you do fill in the cabin with components that add some weight back in. Clark's boat has a lot of intricate components in the cabin, (a bit more than yours) and hence it weighs a bit more. It sure doesn't slow the boat down though. It's a tank & a fast one at that.

Rode on Clark's boat coming back from the sand bar outing in Key West in 2-3's. Wife and I were lounging in the back seat talking at 85 plus. Unbelievable.

So given a poker run configuration, a cooler, couple outlets and a head what does a 525 boat run for speed? I mean real world 4 people and 1/2 tanks?

Ought to turn 87-90 depending on how much you invest in props.

My personal best was 88.2 with 2 dudes and about 1/4 bag. But that was with stock Bravos! I made the mistake of sending them to our local prop shop for minor tweaking. I knew better, but did it anyway. :lolhit:

SOOO, I will be talking to Brett over the winter about a set of labbed Max's. Gonna use Shack's proven design, which should be even better down here on the Bay.
