Speeds in a 37

So what are the speeds you see in a 37 with different power packages?

ie 500 EFI,
525,
Big power (and how much power has been used with this combo)

I am kicking around a few ideas and these boats seem to run pretty fast with lower power and have quite a few amenities.

From what I have seen discussed---

500's are generally in the 83-86mph range
525's are generally in the 86-90mph range
The 675 and 700 boats are in the 100mph range

These are for the 37 AVH, not the straight bottom 37. It will also depend on what options the boat has and whether it has a cabin liner.

What does the cabin liner look like compared to one without?

I prefer the cabin liner boat, cleaner fit and finish in IMHO, 525's rock in the boat, anything more is just icing on the cake. Most fun we have had in an offshore hands down, and love the rough water capabilities and stability at all speeds. Mid to upper 80's no problem with the 525's and you feel like you are running on rails, as well as the tall free board you feel very comfortable and safe running in the big swells.

Can you post a pic of the your cabin?

One of these days I need to get in one.

just a question. I am being told that the 33 rides almost as nice as the 37. speed not a question, will it hold it's own in the rough? is it worth the extra money for a 37 to run in the keys and gulf. sometimes ocean but not when it is nasty

there isn't one at the factory ready to test and I am thinking I want to do this before next season
