Tantrum Video/Question

I kept my tantrum in Rack Storage last year and it took me until Christmas to pay off the credit cards. This year I'm thinking about keeping it in a slip. My buddy has some property on the water and it would be real cheap. I plan on using Scatt (has mixed reviews) on the bottom and pulling it once a month to clean (Weekly in the water srubbings as well). Any thoughts on this? I hate to run with a yellow bottom but I don't want to break the bank this year....

PS. Not pulling it with the liberty.

I would buy a lift or continue to trailer. Your hull could still blister.

Its going to cost you more time and effort to keep it clean as it will to trailer it.

you need a lift or keep it on a trailer for sure, not just the yellowing of the bottom but think about the hardware that will be in all the time. Drive/tabs/prop, and the anodies will be junk soon. Believe me been there done it and hated what the out come was. You just can't clean it enough and what it will do to rubber parts like bellows & seals just isn't worth it. Get a lift.

Thanks guys, I'll definitely stick with the rack storage then!

Any other AT's on Lake St. Clair???

Scope...miller marina offers a in/out service where you leave it on your trailer and its parked in their enormous barn. You just call them ahead and it will be pulled out and ready for you to launch. Very reasonable less than $700 a yr for 25'. Full service marina and some of the nicest people I've delt with.
