sportmaster lowers
dan,
hope all is well with the thunder, I read an article in june powerboat that the sportmasters work the best in apllications where the the center and above of the propshaft are out of the water as they would be on cats and it might hamper boats that have them lower because of its larger size to reduce prop blowout. anyway goodluck! |
Today's results at Lake X: Rick Conti at the helm, K/E 675s, Merc. Sportmaster cases @ 1.35 and 34 labs/5300 r's= 102.0. Is there more?.....maybe.

Hey 102!!!
Rhymes with WOO HOO |
I am happy with the final speed results. Now all Pat and I have to do is figure out how to work out the final details on who pays for the shortie lowers, what props to use etc.... I will post my overall experience sometime tomorrow. I am tired and need to get some sleep. I am hoping that Pat will have my punch list items completed tomorrow and the boat ships tomorrow night.
|
I will be woo hooing as soon as it crosses the Jersey state line.:D
|
Congratulations Dan! I know you must be pumped-up. I'm sure Pat will take care of the changes required by the dial-in, as you're the first boat with the changes and so I'm sure that the X dimension, lower units, props, etc. were all open to possibly changing as it was a learning experience. Pat seems to always go that extra mile to make you guys happy, so I'm sure that this will be no different. He'll just charge JASSMAN more when he orders a 42 next year to makeup the difference! :D
Again, congratulations. Those are great numbers. Now, how did it plane and accelerate? |
Congrats Dan, I hope you enjoy that Bad Boy. I cannot wait to see the speed this Fall in the Thunder Run.:D :D
Miller, I am sure Pat is Lovin you right now:eek: O.K. Mr. Jassby, What outdrives and props have you selected????? Will there be a change request in your future:D :D |
