What kind of shape is it in today?

As of when I saw it a few months ago; only thing it really needs is some of the powder coated accessories redone; i.e. platform, vents, handles. Other than that, it's ready to rock. It's got new drives and solid power, and runs out strong.

You can talk to Pat Sullivan directly about the boat. His shop has been the only one that has touched it for years; and he knows the boat well.

As of a few months ago, it needed a headliner and new interior. Paint looked like it was in decent shape given the years of sitting in FL. Interior, not so much. Obviously the paint is 'unique', so make sure it's something you're okay with. As Brian mentioned, it has new B-max's on it and as I recall some new valve train components in the engines. Although, the engines had some hours on them, so keep that in mind.

At the time I was told by Pat S. the owner really wanted to move it. We went back and forth on price and found he didn't really want to move on his number. The numbers didn't add up with the amount of work that the boat needed compared to others that were on the market at the time. I walked and I would walk again if he hasn't come down on the price (although I don't know where he is today). There were too many nice boats out there that didn't need nearly as much attention for only slightly more money, and i suspect that is probably still true today...

Thanks. I've done 2 projects already, not looking for a 3rd.

I'll probably be looking to upgrade to a 37 in the next couple of years, so you already have potential buyer for it:party-smiley-004::D:D

I think the guy was a heavy crack head or acid user... :party-smiley-004:

:drink:

In all seriousness, it's still a decent boat under all that ugliness. I think the paint looked good back in the day, but it would need some attention or more likely resprayed to get it back into presentable condition IMO. The boat is good base to start with if someone doesn't mind a little bit of a project. You know the hull is sound and the drives are a big step up from the typical bravo/XR junk found on most of these boats. The engines probably still have quite a few hours left in them too. Overall there's a lot of boat hidden under that flashy paint and ugly stained interior. Not many solid 37' 95 mph boats out there for that kind of money... It's worth considering, but you'd have to buy it right to make it worth the effort IMO.
