Righ prop for a 25 tantrum?
 

Well I bought the tantrum.... beautiful boat but definitely has the wrong prop on it. Anyone know what prop I should be running? Boat is bone stock with a 454 mag. Again it's a 1996 25 tantrum

What rpm and speed are you getting?

The prop on it Isn't even close to being right... I cant tell what kind of prop it is but was doing 42 mph at 5200 rpm

when mine had the 300hp motor I had a Bravo I 22 pitch... but I am different, (extension box) I would think a 23" 3 blade or a 22" 4 blade is a good starting point.

I think I still have both. Where do you boat?

Just got home. A windy day out on the bay. We ended up hanging at Sand Island for the afternoon. Its raining now, not a bad day!
