1999 Active Thunder 25 Value
What would the value of a 1999 AT 25 that needs a motor be if the rest of the boat is in good condition?
|
Its completely worthless, but being the nice guy I am I will come get it out of your way! Lol, if just the motor was missing, but drive and exhaust etc was there I would think right around 20k on a trailer
|
Thank you, that helps my decision along.
|
Is this the one that sold at auction in Albany for about 8500.00 ?
|
not mine, but there is an unlisted 97 less motor in Nor Cali for less.

The less money I have had in a boat the more fun I have had. More money less fun.

It would be. By now the water patrol on that lake knows my boat well. I don't even bother putting it in up there anymore. :angry-smiley-038:Get muffler from the beginning! :lolhit:

It's real simple... Don't boat places where they are a pain in the ass... Up there... Winni etc. Don't spend $ there. That's a big lake, there is no reason to have so many restrictions. When I fly over I don't see many boats. That's money they are losing.

Just warning DJMikey...although I'm sure he knows what he's dealing with living up there. I am actually heading up there today for 5 days. Time to start getting the sleds ready:eek:

Careful ! Pretty soon they'll be restricting trails for sleds like they did up here. Imagine people actually buy houses in the woods for silence, LOL. When all along I thought it was so we could make as much noise as we like, cause we're in the friggin' woods.
|
We've had huge sections of trails completely shut to sleds and 4-wheelers.. can walk and cross-country ski though.
|
Gladhe8er - thanks for the warning and yes... I know what I am dealing with up here. Mufflers are needed, and I know most of the time unless you are rippin it they tend to leave you alone... but who can hold it to 45 mph all day long??? Not me i'll tell ya!!! And if you know the schedule of the patrol boats at different times of the year you can have a bit of fun :)
Snowmobiling... ahhh... can't wait... will be preppin my Polaris soon. |

Great shot Mike!

|
That is a cool shot! Might make a good poster...
|
what kind of power are you pushing to get 80 mph?
Would make a great poster! |
Stock 500 HP right Mike?!:lolhit:

500horsepower.
I can't say it still has the aproved APBA seals that were required when we were racing Factory 1, but it has run pretty much the same speeds for the last 12 years. Years ago when the Shootout was still in front of Shooters21, there was one year when the temps were over 100* with high humidity. It ran 78- I won my class. All other years we ran 80-81, and I've won my class every year. One year I put ice packs on the intake runners and all along the fuel line, ran as early in tthe morning as possible for cooler air temps and ran 8 to 10gal. of fuel onboard... Ran 83. These days, the engine has been re-built to the 500 Bulldog specs. Unfortunatly someone "borrowed" a few of my best race props a few years ago. It seems they are long gone so I borrowed and ran my neighbors 28-Bavo-4blade prop for this years event. (he got HIS prop back) The boat ran alot more bow lift with his prop but about the same RPM. Ilm not complaining. It won me another Shootout trophy! |
