Once you do, it will be hard to ever miss it again. Dave is suppose to come this year....Looking for someone that wants to go bigger and unload their single engine boat. Just can't get him to leave his bar on Friday night$. He's trying to fly in Sat. morning.....came in last Sat morning to have some fun @ the Hard Rock.....my wife doesn't like it....she remembers how much trouble we used to get into........:lolhit:

Petes 28 is the only 28 out there with a 525. A good find for someone looking for a 28 single wave crusher.

R Addiction 02-01-2012 08:10 AM

Whoops my bad, Zee's 28 has a 525 from the factory. Petes was installed afterwards. (took out a 496). A small early morning brain fart.

Gladhe8er 02-01-2012 08:20 AM

John - you had 2 brain farts. Outriggers 05 28' has a 525 and I'm pretty sure thats the way it came from the factory.

I guess I never really thought about how rare the 28/525 combo is. So are we saying Outriggers and zee66 are the only two to come from the factory with a 525?

gmhdfan 02-01-2012 09:15 AM

Outriggers just had JC Performance go through it, but I can't get him to call me back.............My buddy has the cash in hand............

Can anybody tell me if these 28AT's were built with a solid fiberglass hull (no core)? If it does have a core, what material is used?

:lolhit: No, just trying to sell my boat by illustrating key differences in other boats that are obvious market competitors (31 bullet, 28 pantera, 28 AT, 28 saber)

Sydwayz 02-03-2012 01:31 PM

Older stuff in the vintage of your boat would have had some balsa and similar laminates. Since current ownership took over roughly 15 years ago, that has all been phased out and there is no wood in the construction of Active Thunder hulls; all composites. Running surface is always solid fiberglass.

Every boat he has is blown....up.....he really wants a blue motor, turn key and ready to go........but if something can be worked out he is ready.....if l was still in Jersey this wouldn't be the problem.........

Solid fiberglass bottom. Cored hull sides and deck.

Some with Dinycell, some with Kegicell, some with balsa core. All hand laminated. Old school.

In the end it depends on the client. You get what you pay for. None the less, you will not break it. You have my promise.

No boat in the show, but we have some appointments scheduled in Miami and surrounding. Factory will be open, and I will be around all week as well.

R Addiction 02-06-2012 07:50 AM

Big brother and I will be in town on the 15th and plan on stopping by the factory. See you there Brian.
