Own my own company, tool sales. Also trade, wish I know I would be as good as I am at trading 20 years ago. Personally I think you are right were you need to be, maybe a company change after a few more years but you are is were the money is. Also as I am sure you know given your field its not what you make its what you do with it. I know a lot of people who make way more than I do but do not have the lifestyle that I have. There net worth is also less.

Now that thats said whats hot, market has been flat lately had a nice play last Monday though. Thinking sell in May and go away is going to be early and sudden Thoughts?

Good luck

I am the sales director for a manufacturer of air casters (load moving systems). Instead of using wheels, we move objects with kind of a 'hover craft technology'.

We moved this last year. Click on the picture. Around 30 sec, you can see it moving on to the floating dry dock. That is a 2700 Ton air hockey puck!

I'm 22 and a coal miner. Got an associates degree in mine management. As long as the coal mines don't get shut down I should be alright.

I didn't expect this thread to receieve as much traffic as it has, thanks' to everyone who participated. It sounds like everyone is making it work somehow, hopefully I can do the same in the near future. To say I'm super excited about the new 29' AT would be an understatement.

When it comes to trading for me it's very difficult. I deal mostly in long purchases and sales. The duration of time when it comes to trading is very short, which makes it even more difficult to predict what's going to happen. There is however a lot of money to be had trading, which I'm sure you know. To be entirely honest between working full time and beginning the study for my CFA exam, I haven't really been following the market all that much. I just don't have that much time too currently. In my own portfolio I dabble heavily in options (puts, and calls). I'll also typically hold a certain amount of the equity I purchase the option on in regular shares. There's all different types of algorithmic graphs you can play with when putting these combinations of investments together. We'll have to keep in touch and as I know more I'll be sure to let you know more. I'm an avid fan/user of morningstar, bloomberg, and stockcharts. I'm sure you've been to these and browse them on the regular, but if you haven't I'd reccomend checkin them out. Again thanks' to everyone who has posted it's nice to see what everyone's doing to afford this hobby we all love so much.
