A small independant, Advanced Elevator Corp., 11 mech. and 1 appr. Local #10. We have been picking up a lot of Kone mrl's for maintenance.

John, my dads friend, who was in his late 40's at the time, quite as a Ford dealer parts manager to start a new career as an elevator man.

Well since I am afraid of hieghts thats not going to work! Can I work in the office?

It appears as though this thread has sparked some interest, I'm glad. These forums can become quite dead in the non boating months. It's good to see everyone sharing information, and getting reacquainted.

back on track. I own an auto repair shop, and always find my self buying a striped, broken, or just a piece of junk. And rebuilding it, my payment plan is a ton of work and keeps me sane in the winter months.

Carrera, I'm building a shop in my backyard and plan on doing that. People are holding on to the older cars now.

Been in banking for the last 16 years. Started at MBNA which was then bought by Bank of America. Currently a VP, managing loan forecasting in our US Credit Card business.
