OCD is out of hibernation
 

Late start for me this year.. OCD just made her first appearance yesterday. Still covered and needs a bunch of work to get her back (to my standards). Nothing major but I don't have the Flying Magical Mechanic to help me this year.

So it looks like I am going to undertake everything myself! :eekdrop:

No time this year... Just lube up another sea pump with the special lube and put it on!!! You can do it!! :evilb:

I'm out too!. All waxed and ready to drop in on Saturday for a shakedown run. I got a GoPro camera now, so I'll try to take a video or two.

Been out 1 time....April 15th on the 25. Went out on Luloff's 37 last friday. May go out next weekend on ours again. This weekend we are headed to Ocean City, Md. for the OPA races.

I just put the trickle charge on her today. I have a list of the normal stuff to do:

Replace waterpump / impeller
I have four new blue plugs for the headers and block to put in.
Put Prop on
Replace Fuel Seperator
Replace a trailer light
Hook up new fuel pressure sender
and I had just bought a new spare tire mount but even though it says "universal" it doesn't fit on my I beam trailer. Fun Fun.

Then of course my 3 step process to wax it. Hopefully get the list above done on Sunday then the rest when I tow her up to the lake house next weekend. Weather permitting test drive!

Thanks Macklin.. Good luck to you as well. It is a labor of love.. Honestly I enjoy doing most of it. Got everything done yesterday except the water pump and fuel pressure gauge.

Speant over an hour cleaning the bilge. That is one of those jobs I could do without. LOL

She started right up yesterday on the hose... Always a good sign.

Extended forecast is looking good for splashing in this coming weekend!
