32 AT. Finaly Hits The Water @ LOTO.

I finaly got a little seat time in my new to me 99 32 footer. I closed on the boat in late Sept of 11 , i only had ran a couple tanks gas thru it before winter , just got it in the water memorial day weekend. The boat was a repo and quite a conversation piece on this blog late last summer before i bought it.

I can find any thing wrong with the boat , still need to finish cleaning it up. The innovation fuelys start , good , run lean in the no wake zones no gas fume smells and are crisp and strong. I have had a rough time learning to back it into the slip , but i havent kissed the dock yet , it backs so fast , i think it must be 1.36 Xrs turn the props faster than 1.50s do.

I have not had the boat over 70 yet , it needs external steering with the motors that has ,so i,m carefull it is my 1st twin drive , i have had no one teach me so i have to learn on my own , i watched Reggie's driving movie on the fountain web site , it gave me some good basics. The boat turns like a slot car , i took it out in the afternoon crusier chop 4-6 footers comming from all directions , i could run 40- 50 no problem , my fellow LOTO. boaters know what the water is like around the toll bridge on a holiday afternoon. It is interesting what a differance a little tab down and tucking the drive in a little will make in rough water. I only got out run by a gladiator that was hauling ass in the rough water. Hats off to Pat he builts a very solid boat , no give , flexing or creaks in the snot. It is quite a step up from the 26 foot checkmate.

I'm dumb old guy when it gets to computers , i dont know how paste the picture into the thread , if you want to see a picture of the boat in the water , take a look at the picture in my profile.

Best Regards Fellow Cult Members,

John
