Waves always look smaller on video and great lakes waves are much sharper and steeper than ocean rollers. Those are 3-5s easy. Based on the air he was getting and the fact he was pulling away from the pack maybe the occasional 5+. I know at 43-44 seconds that was a good one!

At least one of those waves almost knocked everyone down! I've been hit by 5 footers on Lake Michigan that have done just that...I had to pick myself up off the floor and keep driving...

What's really amazing is that this is not a stripped poker runner. With AC/heat, microwave, full size head locker (electric head and sink) galley sink, refrigerator, 3000 watts of stereo, hot water heater it crushes waves by day and very comfortable weekend boat. I have total respect for a Cig Tiger's wave crushing ability but after the party is over I'll take an AT for crashing on any day of the week.

Mad props for Jenn, "Boating girl." Old hat obviously. The guy behide her wishes he had glasses though. Gotta love those choppy raves. Brings back memories.

I would say 3's, maybe, with the occasional 5. People tend to overestimate big water up here.

I must say I havent seen too many 2-3 foot waves buckle peoples knees in a 37' boat lately. If they were 2-3 I would think he could make max speed.
Our best speeds are obtained in 2 footers in a 28.
