The second one was listed in the OSO classifieds for a quite a while. I've never seen the first one before.

rssteiny 10-16-2012 08:06 AM

Wow based on those prices i should be able to get 70k no problem should i decide sell.

Drock78 10-16-2012 02:04 PM

Notice that they have been for sale for a while ...they are both about 10k off

Is that Griffs?

LOTOWONTOPGUN 10-16-2012 03:34 PM

I find it magical that one can make a full assessment of a boats value from two or three pictures.
Just saying.

Im going off of the year, motors, market and the fact that they have been up for sale for a while and havent moved. I have about 30 pics of the newer one...very clean boat but not a $65k boat.

Agreed. It's like a 67 Corvette. There aren't many and they are like gold. Name your price.

Or you could buy an old boat from a company that isn't in business like Pontiac or Oldsmobile.

I agree to an extent...its not a Bahahaha or a fountain but you have to be realistic when pricing it

From your location, you must have boated with Steve before I bought it from him. I heard Steve was at LOTO over the Summer with somebody else and talked to the guys at Performance Boat Center and checked out my boat that was being stored there for a few weeks.

ROCKETMAN 10-17-2012 08:11 PM

Hey Griff, yea I boat with Steve all the time, it’s me man. It was crazy went to Performance Boat Center to check out what they had. We started talking to some guy and he asked what kind of boats we had and I said 37’ A/T and he said oh, we have a 32’ here now did you see it? I said no, and he takes us around to another building unlocks the door, switched the lights on and my jaw drops. I am like, I know that boat, it was mine. Anyway I asked him to tell you hello from me. I took some pictures and like what you have done.

I thought it might be you. Yeah, Glenn told me you were there with somebody else killing some time. I've known Glenn and Brett for a lotta years. I kept the boat there a couple times over the Summer for 2-3 weeks between my trips down. I hardly ever boat our river anymore, and make 4-5 trips to LOTO a Summer.

What 37 do you have???? I have been trying to decide if I wanna move up to a 37.

ROCKETMAN 10-18-2012 06:08 AM

A few years ago I bought “Rage n Thunder” out of Texas. I understand wanting to move up, the biggest thing I like is the additional room in the cockpit and of course the ride. I have upgraded/replaced several, several things and there is a lot to be said about keeping what you have and know. We will be taking it down to Ft. Myers shortly to participate in the FMO Runs throughout the winter; you guys are more than welcome to join us anytime.

Thanks very much for the offer Steve. Its not likely that we'd be able to make it though. These darn kids always seem get in the way of my fun:lolhit::lolhit:

ROCKETMAN 10-18-2012 05:02 PM

Drew,

We have about 8 roofs left that I can’t push back till spring, so when those are done I am bringing it down. I plan on for sure having it there by the end of November. I have heard a rumor you are as well… Tom and Mike are coming at some point also, it will be a good showing. Missed you at Boyne.

Griff,

Yea I hear you especially with sports and all. I would like to do Ozarks again this coming summer, I will have to touch base with you to see when you are going.

For sure, give me a shout. If I'm not down, I can still give you some pointers on accomodations and places to go on the lake.

Who knows, I might be taking a road trip your way to check out the 37 that is for sale in Grand Haven. Probably not till next Spring though and assuming its still for sale.

ROCKETMAN 10-19-2012 06:20 AM

Will do, I wish that one were available when I bought mine or I could sell mine fast. Sharp boat, I would be money ahead if everything checks out. There is nothing wrong with this, however, it’s funny how some people are content with a boat they have had forever and others are always looking for there next one. Sometimes I, especially my wife thinks I should be content. But I guess that is what makes the world go around.

Drock78 10-19-2012 11:59 AM

ive seen the 37 thats in Grand Haven Numerous times Griff...BEAUTIFUL boat..if mines gone...how about you just bring yours up and drop it off on your way

That could be arranged:D:D

I've got 50+ pics of that 37 from the seller. Its got some cosmetic flaws that were there when he bought it, but nothing too serious. I would guess 5-7k worth of paint and powdercoat.

Drock78 10-20-2012 07:14 AM

Looks great from 20ft away. Lol
