Pat ride!
So...after getting beaten pretty good for about ten miles before turning in at Marathon, then running 100+ miles on the inside, Pat decides that rather than idle through Miami to get back to the trailer, we should "take a look outside." I was driving when we went under the bridge, and he says "In about 5 minutes, you are going to wish you switched with me." So I switched. A bit later, I told him he was wrong....it was more like 3 minutes and I would have wanted that switch!
The waves were rolling....there were a couple that were easily 8 foot with wind-blown chop on them. I have a couple vids of it....here's the very end when we turned into Haulover Inlet and saw some jackwagon trying to go out! Said jackwagon turned around right after we gestured to him. Enjoy....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aOQPL...ature=youtu.be |
Very nice Mike. We ran in real big water last year last year from Miami to Pompano the morning after we got back for the boat show run. It can be a lot of fun but it makes for a lot of cleaning.

That was some legit snot! I like how Pat got on it at the end.

Pat knows how to go in at Haulover.

Nice, boat handled it well.

Here's a bit before that....the waves were HUGE. But it was FUN.
