thanks

any body??

boatfreak 02-25-2013 11:18 PM

I don't know how it ran or if there was just one of them but the one pic I saw had prochargers on it.

sommerfliesby 02-26-2013 05:03 AM

Pat said it ran over 100 and that it was very, very thirsty.

laszlo01 02-26-2013 07:14 AM

Pro charged 502's i believe and 100+ if i remember correctly. Any word on what ended up with it ? It was for sale in KW this past fall but needed allot of attention.

Just got back from Key West. Sadly, I was down there for my fathers funeral. Funny thing thou, the boat is sitting just a couple miles outside Key West at a small marina on the corner from where we laid my dad to rest. Just from seeing it from the road, the drives where in bad shap (skegs chewed up). The boat is uncovered and the interior was in ruff shape. Maybe a project boat for someone. sign on boat said $39,000.

Maybe, but I wouldn't put $$ on it. A twin non step with 500's runs 75mph, so I doubt an additional 250hp and additional 1200lbs will gain 10 mph.

x2!!!

Is there anywhere in Miami I can get some of that?

LOTOWONTOPGUN 02-28-2013 05:29 PM

Nothing hard work and some cash can't fix.
Look at the bigger picture cored hull and it is not a resin bucket.
Is it a Balsa cored boat ?
If it did sink and it was in salt water that changes everything.

Whatever core it is would not be affected by water since it is encapsulated. Rot is only an issue where holes are drilled and not sealed.

Makes the boat that much better.

I think there is an extra zero in that price! :eekdrop:

wonder what AT would charge for guages cabin and cockpit redo

sommerfliesby 03-06-2013 06:31 AM

I don't want to be discouraging, but from the looks of things, gauges, cabin and cockpit are just going to be the tip of the iceburg. If the boat was, in fact, under water, you are looking at a total rewire, which will probably cost a pretty penny in labor alone. Also, you have to wonder about the condition of the motors as well, and the electrical componentry associated with them...and multiply everything by three...yikes....

lotopa.com 03-06-2013 06:49 AM

for sure, just thinking one project at a time ( assuming it runs )

laszlo01 03-06-2013 06:55 AM

From what i was told the boat sat on the lift for two years in the elements. Never was under the water.

lotopa.com 03-06-2013 09:10 PM

AT any bid on that interior re do??

1980Condor460 03-07-2013 11:31 AM

I would budget 7-10K for interior. Not sure if that would cover an updated dash too, probably not. I just hope I'm not rebuilding engines again this year so I can take it down before Key West and have it done.

I bet that thing is a wave crusher.

hop116 04-03-2013 05:39 PM

Any other info on this boat as far as condition? Does anyone know if any engines run?
