I've had several people ask me about it lately, and I figure the best way to document it would be a link and description here in the forum.

Thanks!

We need to get this guy working for AT: ; so he can take the requirements to the the engineers, and vis-à-vis.

Well...actually...I have one just like that middle one at home in my garage...

ActiveThunder 05-24-2013 02:47 PM

On a serious note: G. G. Schmitt and Sons

This is the company. The stainless ladder in the picture is part #L0123100 which is not shown on their website.

TDSTYG 05-24-2013 06:57 PM

Pat I gave them that part number and the ladder they sent me didn't fit. I called them over and over again and they sent me another one and it was wrong. Can you maybe put a email or call in to your contact. I'm having zero luck

Sydwayz 05-24-2013 09:32 PM

How about making a footprint of what you have on paper, and faxing it to them? Might that work?

I just called GG Schmidt on your letter. Turns out my parts guy at the time must have switched vendors since we bought no ladders from them in 2008.

You have a picture and description of the old one?

TDSTYG 06-03-2013 07:02 PM

It was a 3 step fold out style ladder. The weird thing is I gave gg Schmidt the dimensions and hole measurements on the platform and they said they make nothing that fits it. The ladder was painted blue to match platform. I will measure it all again in morning and get you the info. My kids are going to lose there minds really soon. I can only drink so much rum to try and deal with a 7 and 5 year old

laszlo01 06-04-2013 07:16 AM

I might have mine available to sell if you cant find one. Had to rework the entry on the swim platform a little. Sounds like its the same one.

Sydwayz 06-05-2013 10:08 AM

No. Actually I forgot I had two platforms made by them in that time frame. Sorry about the brain-fart! Wish I would have seen a pic of the platform early on. I assume yours looks like the one on the orange boat.

TDSTYG 06-05-2013 11:50 AM

ya its the one on the right

TDSTYG 06-05-2013 11:52 AM

TDSTYG 06-05-2013 12:19 PM

the ladder that came on boat can be re painted or powdercoated i just would perfer a stainless steel or polished looking one i guess
