What speeds can you expect out of a 25 thunder with a 454 MPI

60-62? My 24x7 ran 63-65 and the AT is quite a bit bigger. Nice boats though.

i have a carbed 454 mag turing a mirage 23 pitch prop best ive seen is 67 and thats with myself and a 1/4 of gas. (full of gas and 4 people 62ish) ALL on GPS which my speedo is pretty close when comparing maybe a mph or too off. What year boat are you looking at? In 98 they went wood less which made them a few lbs lighter. Personally I think the 25' is the best bang for your buck. It's defiantly nice to pull up and there are not a million boats that look just like the one you came on.

Why go 454 when you can go with 600SC package :D

Carbed 454 mag is rated 365hp. The MPI is rated 310hp and not a good platform for performance mods because of the internals. Pretty easy to swap out for bigger power if the deal is right. You will get bored quick with that hull and power. My .02

It is a 97 I am buying with no power but have found a good deal on a low hr mpi , just sold a Velocity with 496, if it will run 60 I will be happy, just want good dependable power and turn key , I have stainless marine exhaust so that will bump it up

Anyone know where I can get a good 454 MPI fully dressed
