Alright, before any/every one goes haywire over this...

YES, this boat did end up wet side up several years ago. Alcohol was apparently involved in the incident; but details were never really brought to light that I remember.

The boat looks good in the pictures.

Yes, the only Staggered 37 ever built. It was the 2nd AVH bottom boat built and went to a guy in Texas. Paint work was done by Dave Hunter in South Florida. Very cool boat and had to be built "custom" to allow the installation of the staggered motors. Not sure if the boat ever really got dialed in to reach it's full speed potential. There were some questions to the center of gravity being quite different from the way the boat was designed to run with the side by side configuration. At any rate, it's a rare and very cool boat to own!! I remember watching the boat get built from day one!!!

If it checks out, could be a cool boat for someone! Looks awesome in the pics.

Yeah , this is the one that took a salt bath many years ago up here in CT. SS930 took a good long hard look at it. Ended up passing due to price I believe. This was a couple yeatra ago and I can't remember what the guy was asking.

Driver error...not the boat. This is not the only step bottom boat to find it's way upside down...take any step bottom boat incorrectly trimmed and turned hard and you'll get wet. Active Thunder's bottom is alot more forgiving than other step bottom boats!
