Brother and I towed his 41 Apache down in '09. same week as the powerboat races. What a great time. I may be taking mine down next winter and leaving it there. this could happen!

How many Thunders can we get in a caravan from up here? It's roughly 1500-1600 miles from where I'm at all the way down.

3491 miles for me. That's about 100 miles past my limit for towing the 28.

I'd like to make it if someone has room for one more passenger.

Just tow it to Jupiter. I'll send a truck up and get it from there.

Look at it this way, if u did tow it down you would likely get the award for farthest towed. :D

Ok guys I'm stuck here in the ice and snow, as many of you are, and day dreaming of warm weather and boating. I just walked through my shop where I keep my boat and there she is covered in a big blue tarp for the winter when she should be in Florida. This boat hasn't missed a winter boat trip until this year and it's killing me. We haven't done a Thunder Run in a few years and we have several new owners that have never done one so lets give some real thought into bringing it back next winter. I know 12 months in advance might seem a little early to be doing this but just think about how well planned it will be.:cool-smiley-011: Anyone want to go cruising around in the Keys next January?

Can I just drive mine down to you and hook it up behind yours? I mean, you are HEADING that way, why not bring TWO boats...?

3258 miles at 9 mpg x $3.50 = $1,267(each way) x 2 = $2,534 + hotels, food and :ernaehrung004: on the way down and back.

That's it, "Hey honey I'm flying to Key West next January. You should see all the money I saved 'us'!"
