I'm glad that windshield worked out for you...

I had the flip-up wind flaps installed on my Tantrum, after enduring 3 years of wind in the face. They are awesome! You still get a little wind, but overall it is much quieter. I would recommend getting three and putting one in the middle.

I bought the flaps from Finneys and they were a waste of money. I couldn't figure out how to make them look good on the Tantrum. They don't fit right on the lip below the ferring (above the gauges). The mounting brackets are too wide. I even had aluminum blocks fabricated and powdercoated for mounting them on the lip, but that didn't work out either. I didn't want to mount them right on the ferring and ruin the look of the boat.

If you want them, I can send you my leftover parts to that idea. I know I still have two of the clear plastic flaps from Finnys, not sure what mounting hardware is left over. Send me an email, [email protected].

Does your boat have the upholstered "crash pad" on the dash? If so, maybe you could add a Lexan windscreen like the larger models have.

That is what I would do.

I had the flip ups on my 28 Pantera and they did help some. I do not think that style is available anywhere anymore.
I have a 3.5" acylic deflector on my 32 and it helps a LOT.

I don't have any decent pics of mine. Bascially, its a piece of acrylic or lexan that is mounted between the crash pad and the fairing. It is vertical and deflects the wind right over your head.

There are some pics in the thread of the one on Pwraddr's 37 http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/a...pwraddr-2.html
