This has always been a great looking boat. I haven't been on it in quite a few years, but it really is a nice package.

state1310 08-03-2014 09:40 PM

$ ? i didnt see an asking price

Sydwayz 08-03-2014 09:46 PM

eBay is an auction site. :angry-smiley-038:

Drock78 08-04-2014 02:04 AM

I'm surprised that it's not listed anywhere but ebay.

onesickpantera 08-04-2014 01:19 PM

Looks clean! I assume there was a water injestion issue from the headers?

Drock78 08-04-2014 04:38 PM

curious as to why the drive is off...

The reserve price isn't shown. It just states if it's been met. That would slightly defeat the purpose. :D

state1310 08-04-2014 08:50 PM

guess im thinking of buy it now .... I dont do much on ebay

drivrswntd 08-04-2014 09:40 PM

Buy it now is an option the seller has. He went straight auction with a reserve. I buy and sell a ton on ebay. Sold my outlaw 24 without power within 2 weeks of listing it on there and it was in March.

That pic was taken while JC had the engine and the drive was sent out and checked. It's on the boat now.

Inconclusive, that's what we thought at first but the headers pressure checked. I put new a new set on anyway, I still have the originals.

Got ya. Was there water intrusion that led to the rebuild? Was it rebuilt to stock specs?

outriggers 08-05-2014 03:22 PM

I didn't take it apart, Jeff did. He told me there was some corrosion in #7 and #8. If I remember correctly a valve was stuck in #8. Mercury told me not to use the silent choice at all, because it will revert water. Engine is stock except the Dustin ECM. Runs great, but you have to run premium fuel. I got to watch Zul dyno it.

Wire transfer only? Is this boat also for sale in Nigeria?:bunnydance:

Last I saw it hadn't broke 30k...is that really the market on a 28 AT

drivrswntd 08-11-2014 10:43 AM

Reserves never work well on ebay. It tends to put people at a thought of its priced out of this world, not going to bother. Better up putting a buy it now or best offer and going that direction. Thats how I sold my outlaw.

gmhdfan 08-11-2014 12:23 PM

Someone is going to get a GREAT boat. My buddy tried to buy this boat a couple of years ago but Doug really wasn't sure he wanted to get rid of it. I think the 28' AT is one of the best single engine boats out there, especially with that motor combo. Good Luck with selling it.

I disagree, it gets the boat some attention that may lead to a purchase outside of Ebay. I have a friend that sells quite a few higher priced toys a year and he rarely sells them through Ebay, even though he always lists them. But, he sells them to people that made first contact through Ebay often.

That's how i found mine. Outside of ebay after it didn't make the reserve. Probably didn't help selling a boat between Christmas and New Years either. For the seller - cheap advertising with the occasional low ballers.

drivrswntd 08-12-2014 09:19 AM

Agree with that, but listing it is cheaper to list as a buy it now or best offer for 7 days free then do an auction. Reserve listings cost $ in fee's. Like you said ebay just gets you the attention you need and then usually sell outside of. Same way my outlaw sold. Guy saw it there contacted me, came looked at it and we finished the deal.
