Side cockpit panels

How in the heck do they install them? No way I can reach the top nuts.

Wanting to remove them, any tips are appreciated. The ones directly inside the gunwales are doable, can't figure out how to reach the rest.

Thought about trying for 4 year old daughter but subwoofer is on one side and water tank on the other.

If you have a welder weld box wrench to a metal extension and use a mirror . Best I can think of. Good luck. Btw my youngest is 2yo and is good with a wrench.

Pull out the speakers to reach a few high/forward ones.

As for the rest, you need to literally crawl up in there. I've done it a few times. It's tight. You may need to find a small friend.

Not looking forward to this job.....was hoping there was something I was overlooking.

Ratcheting wrenches are your friend for this task.

Hi,

I just removed mine, but it's the older 99 model. I removed all other nut's. Then underneth there is a big hole and i
was able to come to the highest nut. It was covered with Fiber Glas. I don't know why it was covered but it took me 2 hours and a blood emty arm to get it off. After that it was posible to take the top front nut of.
Maybe you have also such big holes under the side panels. I saw them thru the side storage.

Maybe that help's

Toughen up, its not like you just moved to Michigan. Get you a little heater and get started.
