How to remove Corsa Silent choice from my 502?

Installing new headers. Anyone ever done this.someone told me you have to lift the engine? Do I need a block off plate? Need some serious help.

Also, if I remove engine. Is it time for a cam while it is out?

Thanks!!!!

CP Performance has block offs for the Y pipe if you don't want to pull the motor to remove the Y pipe. Im going to do that next summer until I pull the motors for an upgrade. If you have the cash, do what red said :D

I just used y pipe block off until I pull for upgrade. Make sure your new headers have bungs to mount ur oil filter, shift bracket and computer box. I had to send mine back.

What difference did you see with a y pipe block off? I'm rebuilding my 500HP's this winter and was thinking of doing that, but someone told me that it wouldn't make a difference...
