Price is too steep...just curious how it runs!? The drives are waay back on this boat. |
Saw that last night. Turn off is ex race no cabin.

wow
those are some extended extension boxes |
Weird, one pic shows it as an f2 boat which would've been hp500's and bravos no boxes. Now it has 6's on boxes. Thought I read a few times that step placement is absolutely critical on these depending on power, drives and cabin layout. Can anyone vouch for it handling well or is it out of control since it wasn't built with 6's?

Yeah, that's what I heard too as far CG and engine placement...I believe Pat has always said to leave motors where they were intended to be (as opposed to moving forward to accomadate trannies). Looks to fly nice in some of those pics!

It's at the factory getting a pleasure refit.
Used to be a Bravo F2, then up to SSM drives and twin 1200s. Pleasure refit will be twin 800s and SSMs. It ran 120ish with the big power. |
I'm sure he does. I'm just going off the fact that anytime anyone has mentioned changing engine placement a few people say "you can't, the step is placed in the mold exactly where it needs to be for the given power package. Other manufacturers offered bravo side by side , bravo stagger, #5 stagger and 6 stagger with no bottom changes and no real complaints

I had an Outlaw , it didn`t have a step thou so I was ok with more power.
