29 Savage Pricing?
Does anyone know the price of the new 29 Savage with twin outboards and the rear lounge option? Also, wondering what outboard options will be available, 300, 350, 400??? I wonder what the top speed would be with 2 of the new 400R outboards.
thx. |
Call Pat (or Brian), he's the one with all of your answers! ;)
|
First one is being built with 300s and well optioned.
We'll put prudent power options once it when they have proven themselves; and a customer ponies up. We have an MSRP aligned, but not going to publish it here on the forum at the moment. Shoot myself or Pat (ActiveThunder) a message and we'll follow up 1:1. |
Please give me a shout at 954.782.1111 or feel free to e-mail me at patrick at active thunder boats.com. My price list has 300, 350 and 400s listed. Retail is $173, 179 and 201 in order.
We should be at 80 with the 300s. Hoping 90 with 400s. |
80? 90? WTF happened to 112!!!! :D
Are build pics going to be posted of the first 300 boat? |
...and 144 for the single 520? I guess in didn't realize how much more expensive outboards are.
|
The 502 is about that price but actually the 520 Retail is $159k at current pricing.
On a thread on the main forum there has been talks but nobody realizes what has happened to OB prices. A single Verado 350 is about the same as a single 502 HO bravo. But it's the trend.....

I like the lone beer sitting there saying "after a hard days work".
Boat has nice lines.... |
Is it me or is this 29 have more of a sleeker design then the 28?
|

Great looking boat. Impressive to say the least. I was thinking with twin 400r it maybe a tad faster. Step on a 29 two egg beaters hanging off the back nice offset from transom lighter and more efficient. Maybe a low optioned lighter over al weight. I am looking forward to seeing. I love those 37s.
|
Looking great! Can't wait to see how it turns out.
|
Think this needs twin 400r's with the joystick control for those who need help while docking:party-smiley-004:
|
If you need a joystick to dock, you need a pu.s..sy azz CC. :drink:

On the 29 cabin, is the headroom the same as the 28. It looks less and a lot less than the 32 or is the pic making it look that way.
it was good meeting you at the Miami Show. |
Can you get joystick and bow thruster?! :D Looking good!!!!

It didn't need it. And I can fix anything I scratch. :D
|
And you, too!
Actually we changed the deck down the center raising that section 2 inches. It is like the new 33s. The windscreen is more swept back as well. The boat you see has the cabin liner from the 28 Savage installed so it is all pretty much the same except down the center where we put the gain. Also we used the new 33 dash. I have more pictures but that was as far as I got posting so far.

Looks really nice! I'll have to stop by and check it out one day since I now live local. Always been a fan of AT.

Please show us the new deck. I hope the recess is still there a bit. It does look different than the 28 and that scoop/air induction looks huge compared to what the step looks like. Sofar I love it. PPPPPPPpplease more pics.
|
Actually, for head room, I raised the center section. Kinda like the Sonic. I will post a picture in the morning for you!

The actual, internal volume of this tank model comes to 151 US Gallons. After the EPA-mandated ullage (air space) requirements, you are down to ~143 US Gallons, or somewhere in the neighborhood of ~139 gallons, if you are a member of the ABYC and/or NMMA (since they have additional requirements above and beyond the base EPA requirements) This is adequate. Plus I really wanted one single cell instead of twins like the bigger boats. |
