37 on trailer length
Looking at building a house and thinking about building the garage big enough for a 37 AT. Does anyone know how long and high theirs is? Tongue to drive and overall height. Thanks in advance. Andy

It all varies. Dozens of threads like this which explain the variables of each type of trailer.
Boat length plus 7 feet is a good conservative number. You don't want a door less 9 feet. 10 is better. You don't want a ceiling height less than 12 feet. 14 is better My 37' AT on a Myco trailer is just shy of 42 feet tip to tip. And it's about 8' tall. I've seen 37' ATs on trailers that are 3 feet longer than mine; and that's not talking about a drive guard which adds more. Also, I've seen 37' ATs on trailers that sit nearly a foot higher than mine too. |
If I can get by the shop today I'll measure mine on the new trailer.

Mine is about 40-41 OAL on a Phoenix trailer. Bow is up over the tongue pretty good but balanced well.

Same as Brian. |
I'm surprised they are not longer, but I still need at least another 3' of garage. :poopoo:
My 32 is right at 38' on the trailer with the drives down and my garage is 39' deep. The ext boxes add about a foot though. |
My 32 on a rocket trailer is 391/2 feet

Go as big as you can....I went 40x50×14 high with 16'&12' wide doors that are 10 tall. Just in case I want to upgrade my little Tantrum. Gotta say after last winter wishing I went 50×60! And go with 12' high doors because it cost me more to get the floor poured because the cement truck wouldn't fit in the door.
