Any 33s up for sale?
Hey all,
Looking to upgrade from my 32 Dominator and I am shopping for AT 33s or a Donzi 35 ZR. Not seeing a lot of 33s on the classifieds I've been checking. Curious if anyone knows of any nice low hour ones coming up for sale soon or listed elsewhere. Aiming for a 33 to fit in my boat slip. Budget is ~100k. |
There are only a few 33s in existence. One comes up every once in a while.
|
Well that helps set expectations then!

Good luck on the hunt, Yarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
The 33 AT looks like an awesome boat. I'd like to have one some day. |
wasn't there an 09 listed not to long ago? 100K I don't know if it will get you a 33 though. they are rare.
|
I thought I saw one too. Must have sold. Yeah, 100k might be hard but definitely figure it is worth a try to join the cult! Would love to get a new 29 but I just love the amenities of the bigger ones too much.

that's it guys name was ted.
thanks |
I want to say the asking on that boat was around $120-130? Very sharp looking rig.
|
I agree….I think any 33 Active Thunder or Donzi 35ZR, especially one with 525's is going to bring over $100K. Keep in mind, those two boats are apples and oranges different.

Shoot a PM to "REMEDY" here on OSO. Drew owns Remedy, and is friends with several other 33 owners; one of which has considered upgrading.
|
The one that recently sold is the only one that has changed hands a few times. All the rest of us just keep running them. Lol. We love them. There is a possibility that number two hull might be available sometime. The blue one. But not currently advertised.

I wish that AT had sold a BUNCH more of these, so that there were more on the used market :)

Reason is price difference between the 37 and 33 is not that extreme so most just get the 37.
However my point remains. The used AT market in general is very small in regards to supply, from what I've seen. Also, I found the ad for the other 33. It's still up on PBL....and probably will be for several years. lol http://www.powerboatlistings.com/view/38948 |

If you're considering a 37 AT as well but having trouble finding one, you might want to consider looking at the 37 Outerlimits too. They are somewhat similar and can be found with 6's rather than bravo junk. Just throwing the option out there anyway...

you said "and will be for several years", why would it be?
Lets use this one for an example... http://www.powerboatlistings.com/view/1238 Was listed in 2004. lol. In the AT section, of the 12 actual boats for sale (not including Grand Sport Center's generic ads), SIX of them date back to 2012 or OLDER. That's what I was getting at. |
lol, i know i was busting your balls. i don't know who runs that sight but its crazy
|
Sucks when you're surfing for boats, and you're like "THAT'S AWESOME"...then realize that the ad is 8 years old. lol
|
Bump up the budget and get a boat you won't need to trade up from later, for speed or size. :drool1:
