I've been putting off buying a boat for a couple years now and this boat is local in my area and I've seen it run a few times and I know people who know the owner say the boats in great shape never had any issues. Do you guys think the asking price is fair? He's been trying to sell it for a couple years now so I'm worried about the resale of it too since I would like to buy a twin boat in the next year or two. Anything major to look out for in the old of a boat besides the normal?
Here's the link. https://syracuse.craigslist.org/boa/...602916569.html Here's the info if the link doesn't work. Active thunder 25 with 700 hp Ron potter motor and bravo xr drive , runs low 80s , very reliable set up , clean boat . I have build specs and more info just text or call , trailers in great shape , low hour very clean boat . |
That boat was built before Pat Haughey took ownership of the company. As such, it's truly not an "Active Thunder" as that was what he renamed the company from "Thunder Boats".
If you proceed, be aware that it very likely has wood in the construction and would certainly need a full survey before purchase. |
the guy who has my old 25 is putting it up for sale. Fresh motor, blue printed bottom. Its a 1998, no wood. PM me if you want to get in contact with him
