37s coming available?

anyone intending or interested in letting their 37 go?

mbccenter 07-29-2019 07:25 AM

Never know.. What's the budget?

Drock78 07-29-2019 08:45 AM

The red demo boat with 565's is coming available..

Sydwayz 07-29-2019 10:56 AM

Brian Sachman took the boat he kept at the factory back to Canada. He'd probably sell for the right deal.
He is "Excess" here on OSO.
https://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/members/excess.html
I have his number if you can't reach him through a PM.
The boat has 565EFI Mercs with XR drives.
http://www.offshoreonly.com/wp-conte...iveThunder.jpg

Kevin Berman has flirted with selling a couple times, but the boat is PERFECTION, so I can't imagine why. I do know he likes the chase of perfecting his toys; maybe ready for another.
He is "kjberman" here on OSO: https://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/.../kjberman.html Same thing, try PM'ing him.
The boat has 600SCis with XR derivative drives.

There is another one on the the East Coast that I know the owner is almost ready to list.
But I'll let him make it known when he's ready. That's a 525EFI/XR boat.

What year and power are you looking for?

Drock78 07-29-2019 01:18 PM

Thinking about selling Mike?

No, I think we are going to hold onto it at least a few more years.

From zero to two 37's on the market in 1 day.

https://www.offshoreonly.com/classif...is-o76031.html

Dave just posted his. That's the one I was referring to above.

https://scontent.fslc2-1.fna.fbcdn.n...7a&oe=5DE99497I am quite fond of both Dave's and Mike's boats, and would own either one of them in a heartbeat if I was shopping.

And FWIW, this has always been my favorite side of Stealin' Thunder:

Considered trading wife? :D :D You should look into one of the walk-through boats that Pat has built.

unfortunately without the wife i'd be looking at sea doo jet boats .... we have looked at them.... not sure I want egg beaters, but a defiant with poker run seating would be a close second and get me thinking about outboards but that would also be a new build and that is not in the budget either.... she wants to be able to wine and dine friends and family at the local sand bar and wants the room(9'6" beam) etc of the 310.... i don't want too deal with 2 boats but all this being said, i said the current 30 outlaw with 525's inst being sold if we don't go the go fast route and she said ok .... so i am somewhat ok with a sport cruiser I think.... I would just like one 37 to deal with and not two boats to juggle.....

ActiveThunder 08-05-2019 05:15 PM

I will have a 2004 37 available at year's end,

You've been quiet. Do you still have yours? Let's see some pics again!

endeavour32 08-06-2019 11:29 AM

I had a number of people reach out to me on Stealin Thunder, after I was asking about Outerlimits. I figured I’d list it and see what interest is out there.

Still have it! I'll post up on another thread!

30outlaw 08-07-2019 08:41 AM

was the front seat configuration an option? looking at pics of fast forward (2003) and the above 2 boats. 2004 and 2007. whats the deal?

The side by side seating configuration is wayyy better. Bigger shower area because its in the deepest part of the vee and can span 2/3's of the way across the boat. Plus you can actually have a conversation with the person next to you instead of yelling across the cokcpit.

Drock78 08-07-2019 01:36 PM

It was an option. Could be built either way. I probably wouldn't own another boat with split bolsters after owning Fast Forward. Should have never sold it.

Sydwayz 08-07-2019 02:03 PM

I myself, prefer the side-by-side seating, but ONLY if my GF would have remembered to put her seat cushion down every time we came off plane.

Her, tired of hearing me gripe at her over said issue...
...said she'd rather have a split entry boat next time.

I'll show her. Next one is going to be a sit-down.

snowhammer 08-07-2019 06:22 PM

My wife likes her "space", so the split seating works best for us. That being said, she is not a big fan of running fast so...I've had my 2000 37' for less than two years and am contemplating what to do. Great boat and guys here were a ton of help with any questions I had when I was looking to purchase.

JimmyS 08-08-2019 10:20 AM

Thanks to a local member here, I was able to see a 37 up close with the wife this past weekend. Impressive boat, wife loved the cabin area, and very much on my radar as our next one (38 Sonic was the other option). I guess I need to start considering letting mine go to move up, seeing as these boats seem to only pop up in groups for sale and then disappear for periods of time. Would hate to be boatless, but gotta be prepared I guess.

endeavour32 08-08-2019 07:21 PM

I wasn't sure I wanted the side by side seating when I bought my 37. Now that I know how great it is, that is my preference. The only downside I can think of, is if I need to get out and grab a line fast, sometimes I end up pushing my GF out of the way. Ha, every time I do that, I'm waiting to get scolded, but I thinks she knows when you need to move, you need to move! Outside of that, everything about the side by side seating is better, IMO.

SC288 02-24-2020 09:40 PM

It looks like we may consider putting Monsoon up for sale this Spring, pm me for details.

Sick Stinger 04-17-2020 10:11 PM

Any new coming up?

What are you looking for? I keep going back and forth.

SC288 05-11-2020 12:52 PM

Monsoon is for sale officially, PM me for details as it is not currently listed anywhere. Probably hold off on doing that until things clear up a little.

There is a 37 with triple 502's up here, I don't know anything about it personally

I think Pat only built that one triple engine boat.
IIRC, the guy had that 37 at his place in Canada, and he has/had a 28' AT with twin 350SBC at his place in the Florida Keys.

resurrected 05-11-2020 02:09 PM

With only one built, must not have been a successful experiment.

F-2 Speedy 05-11-2020 02:30 PM

OMG did it leave the factory with that paint

HA, It looks like a really ugly wrap.

SC288 06-29-2020 10:12 AM

I have received a few PM's regarding the status of MONSOON, it sold just before Memorial Day. We have moved to the dark side and have a cruiser but love it so far.
