Lol, yeah...:) Need to finish mounting hardware, install interior, wire bilge, mount and layout fuel system, install new thru hulls, navigation lights, put down new floor, dyno engine and write new EFI tunes, install engines and rigging. Right around the corner. I'll probably just run the Panther on the weekends for a while. I'm a one man band.

Well why not... Seeing that there are not many reasonably priced used 380 plates out there and I'm not willing to spend $1348 for new. I have an extra set of 280 plates laying around. So might as well add to them. I'll clean up the welds before paint. :)

Also curious to see how my hardware is going to turn out after an over night soaking. I have had good results on mufflers and props.

I know no one cares about today's progress update. Everyone is more curious about how my stainless turned out.
I just wiped the parts down with a blue shop towel after 24hrs of soaking. It does not remove scratches...
So, there are 6 anchors for the tabs. 2 thru-hulls, 3 threaded bolts and 1 lag screw? (last pic)

Nice work going on there. I'm getting started on all of my stainless tomorrow. I've got the dual shaft buff motor ready to go with 2 new buff wheels on it ready for some compound.

Finished up the majority of the back of the transom. New stainless drain plugs and yes, the lag screw does go to the trim tab mounts. It mounts directly behind the stringer so a thru bolt can't be use. Also installed 2 new Rule 1100 27SA bilge pumps. Don't know how I feel about them. They do not use a float switch. They use Rule "Smart Technology" and power on every 2.5 minutes and sense for resistance. Also cutout new high temp silicone exhaust seals.

I can tell you about those pumps, do yourself a favor and get rid of them. I have tried them twice in different sizes and both time get about 1 year out of them. In my boat you have to pull headers off to replace.

And the worst thing, 3 of the 4 failed ON,,,,,, meaning they killed the batteries.

1 bottle Dollar tree Rust Lime Calcium remover and 1 bottler Lime Away bowl cleaner. I use the bowl cleaner all the time when wiping down/cleaning stainless. The other stuff was to "water" it down for soaking purposes. The bowl cleaner is more like a gel.

And this is great cleaner degreaser.

Not much to update. Got a reference point for my moisture meter. Which correlated real well. The 001% is the side of the hull that was repaired with 1/2" balsa. Replaced all of the plastic thru hulls and plastic tank vents. Only one more to replace. Hard time finding the right size. Just ordered new engine hatch mirrors. Vacuumed and cleaned all the wires and cables in the bilge. Might have to paint the cockpit next. Will see how it looks after all the interior and seadeck flooring is in.
