My 37, with stock 600's (except for Whipple flame arrestor's and additional water going to the intercoolers), 32 labbed Maximus props runs 96-97.....has honestly been my favorite boat out of all I owned.

Thanks @Endeaver32 you basically answered all my questions. I am in the Caribbean and 1. Its salt water 2. 75% of the time the water is 3-6 feet 4. I'm looking more of comfort and at a decent speed (75mph-80mph) out of a boat that wouldn't fall apart. From what you told me the active thunder is the way to go. What I noticed with alot boats that people say ride good they are heavy and require big power to at least cruise at a decent speed. That is not what I'm looking for especially in a 37 maybe a 40 footer but not a 37 if you see what I'm saying. 700s should get me where I want to be thanks again.

Accordingly, in order to obtain the top speeds out of the 700SCi/NXT setups that Pat built, you need some really high end custom props to dial out the transom lift, but bite the water as such to get the speed.

And you can't compare a 39' Nor-Tech to a 37' AT. Years back an 37' AT owner took his AT over to Nor-Tech for the weekend when leaving Ft. Lauderdale, and spent a day going over and riding, and driving a new 39' Nor-Tech. He did say the boat was fast, but it didn't have the ride and handling characteristics of the AT; which he kept afterward. The 39' Nor-Tech is a great boat, but that hull just doesn't handle the rougher water like an AT.

Pat had told me that it was a simple fix on the bottom to do but mine is a older 03' without the NXT. Will see as I will be doing it this winter.
