would not be apba legal so it sounds like and sbi thing...why would be the only other question?

ActiveThunderTodd 12-18-2002 09:37 AM

Why not?

audacity 12-18-2002 11:50 AM

i just can't see them putting any effort into racing. so why bother.

Jassman 12-18-2002 04:20 PM

Is there a little animosity there:p :D

ShipWrecked 12-18-2002 08:48 PM

Why won't they put effort into racing...the boat seems to run fast, right?

audacity 12-19-2002 01:14 AM

i've always told pat i think he should put a lot of effort into racing...it has paid off for a large number of manufactures that have done well. it realy takes a lot more than most think. from everyone involved...

honestly a lot look at top end #'s and the only thing that really matters is average speed!

Official Pulse Drive response

We do have a number of Active Thunder projects in the works
Currently none of them are racing applications.
That’s not to say I wouldn’t like to get involve if A/T did.
One of the biggest advantages we had running SBI A Class was reliability.
The ability to keep the throttles down in big seas and not worry about damaging the drives.

Sounds like fun to me

Pulsedrive/Tony, with all due respect, when I went to your website I could not find one CLOSE-UP picture of your "pulsedrive". All the pictures of your drive are from a distance, no drawings or diagrams or anything of what it looks like or how it operates and if there was I could NOT find it by navigating through your website. Lots of literature, but nothing near to give the curious an idea of what it looks like up close. The ad on OSO only shows a rear view with some big props on it. All one can see are the HUGE PROPS---still no idea of what the drive looks like. People tend to buy with their eyes and I think a few close-up pictures showing the drive's profile would be beneficial especially when you're really trying to market the product. Your pulsedrive sounds very interesting---we just want to see it. Thanks :)

Hi Kaama,

I will be posting pictures of my conversion on my 35 Cig in the next day or so. Lots of close ups. Are you going to the Miami show? You can see (and touch) one! I'll be working there as well as Tony. Would be great to meet you!

Mongo

PS on the Pulse drive website, there is a movie with diagrams. Goes by fast, but a good look anyway.
