So who do we have that is a going to destin? I know Barb and I are. H20 and tbikini did you determine if you an make it?:D

Glad to take a break from reading the thunderstruck or blunderstruck thread.... geesh....

Here is the list:

Bob and I and Corey - in our 37 AVH which has never porpoised!!
Dan and Barb 37 AVH
Jeff and Sandy (and friends) 37 AVH
Steve and Laura - 32 Thunder from Michigan
Keith and Audrey - 45 Sonic from New York
Alan and Shanna - 34 Powerquest

Plus a few other local boats will probably join for parts of the run...

Also, Bob and I attended a meeting of the Pensacola Performance boat club and handed out the flyers for the run so I expect a few of them to come join in the fun for at least one of the days...

Should be a great time!

For those of you up north the weather has been in the 70s here
We were out Sunday afternoon.. it was beautiful!!! Supposed to be close to 80 by next Thursday!!!

Hey Kevin & Judy, I have to formalize the reservations at least 14 days before checkin... which means by tomorrow... so I need to know if you are coming so I know how to switch the reservations around... right now we have 2 - 3 bedroom houses but we will probably need to change it somewhat.. just need to know what you guys are doing!!!
Please let us know ASAP! Sure hope you can work it out to be here!

Destin was ranked in the top 20 for best places for power boats in this issue of PowerBoat... :cool:

If you run the right speeds, you may even see a "Porpoise" or two!:D :D :D :D

Everything is set. Slips are reserved and houses are finalized. We ended up changing to 2 - 2 bedroom houses because some people decided not to stay the entire time and some people got their own place. And some people are staying on their boats.

Also, in case anyone has any questions about the run or the plans in the next week please call Bob's cell phone. I think everyone has his number. We will be in Michigan for the next several days because my grandma died yesterday. :(

Shari (and Bob)....Sorry to hear about your grandma....will keep you in our prayers for safe travel.

Looks like we will be attending the run....without kiddos:D Don't you just hate it when Grandma keeps insisting on keeping them for you:cool: I am buying my ticket to VPS tonight, so someone will have to come get me at the airport around 2:30 I think it is. I am flying in on Thursday, and Kevin should arrive with the boat from Ft. Lauderdale sometime that evening. We are going to be staying on the boat, so we will let everyone know what that is like. Looking forward to seeing everyone soon. Make sure to bring sunglasses.....my skin is so white I will be blinding you all:p
