Question for Pat , AT Boat Construction
 

Hi Pat , of AT . I have a 1996 Thunder 25 and love it!!! When i run it i feel like iam a part of the boat!! Can you tell me if it has the same construction as the new ones (Urethane Marine Composite)? Iam a stickler for sealing up any screw i take out or put in rail etc . Had a friend that had to have his transome replaced a few yrs back on his 86 Donzi from rot . My friend Chris has a 28 and says i may not need to be so perticular because it wont rot if it has this construction? That would be great!! I read about this construction at the AT site.

Sorry for the delayed response. I was just told of your question.
Actually your boat was built just a little before we made the change. However, not to worry at all. Just make sure you seal up whatever you open up. The strength is just fine but if it starts absorbing water it weighs more. If it weighs more it might slow you down a bit. And we all want to go as fast as we can! Good luck and if you get some pictures forwarded to us so we can get you in our owner's section.
