If anyone is looking for a 37 AVH, this one is for sale, has all the toys, including genset/ac and some KE675s, even has the only A.T. made with the third drop in bolster, 239,500.00 or 175,000.00 without power. We can also build you power of your choice or install Mercruiser.

3 more weeks left before it goes to the dealer, so make your best deal on this dealer demo, 65 hrs, as good as new with warranty left on it. Thanks Jeff Office phone 228-255-3400 or Cell 228-216-0900

Here is a stern view of this 37AVH, without the third bolster in. The lexan hatches are really cool, especially when you light up the engine compartment, its painted Radio Active Green.:D

Hey Jassman,
Great looking boat. Pat's builing my 33AVH and I'm looking for some power (500HP range). Can you hook me up?? I can't play with you big boys yet with that huge HP.
Talked to Pat this morning, and he's trying to get some prices from Sterling/K.E. , but I don't think they make those small of HP range.
And of course, it must be drop in ready for the guys at the plant.
Once again, nice boat with a killer paint job

Adam, Thanks. Give Steven at Total Marine a call, he will hook you up, He is building me some motors as well, great guys to deal with. 1-985-649-9888 that boats going to rock.:D

2 more 2003's have come on the market(whatever boat & another)? Seems as though almost all AVH's that have been built are or have been on the market? WHY?

ActiveThunder 07-24-2003 06:10 PM

Whatever's family has had enough of hi-perf boating and want a 40' Formula cruiser. Enlightening prefers that route, too. It is a good time to pick up a bargain with interest rates. So get off your wallet while the deals are hot. Both great boats. Pat.

I hope too be seriously in the market real soon. I just wonder how an AVH handles the big washing machine called Lake Erie. I do find it hard to believe they are selling at big losses so soon after buying. My guess is that they aren't really.

ActiveThunder 08-01-2003 06:58 AM

how does it handle washing machine water? you're kidding, right.......

Pat, you got anymore videos like that? Great video :)

imongo 08-01-2003 08:22 AM

Hey Pat,

That's flat water! Too bad there was no footage of the day you and I went 60 mph head long into those 6 footers in the Gulf! Didn't we get a 4 count from the time the boat left the water until we landed again? The AVH 37 is the best rough water boat I've been in. It takes the rough better that my friends 45 Donzi! Hate to sound like advertising, but, how does Pat say it, "It only takes one ride"?

The only way to realize the capability of the boat is to go for a ride. It will handle what Erie will put out better then any boat its size. Go for a ride, that's the key.

As for the losses, some people have a higher threshold than others. I would not jump to any conclusions on that count.

Moving to a larger boat, 2 weeks left before it goes to the broker, the Emerald Coast PR will be my last run before it gets dropped off. Trades accepted, or can repower, and I possibly can hold a small amount of funds. So if you are looking for an awesome boat, and want to save thousands over a 2004, this boat is for you, 235K with all the toys, Generator, 3rd bolster, ect., 170K NO power, or we can build you a specified HP, or repower with Mercruiser through Total Marine and Performance, your A.T. Dealer. Make an offer, you never know. Thanks Jeff.

Jassman 08-05-2003 07:18 AM

Motors are possibly sold, will let the boat go with drives, generator and all the extra's for 160k, so if anyone is interested let me know before the Emerald Coast PR, thanks Jeff:D

both lowers were rebuilt by IMCO. Drive oil is changed with the engine oil at every 10 hours, no abnormal metal shavings have been found, boat has 65 hours on them, 16 since rebuilt. The rpms have also been lowered as to when putting in gear its around 900-1000 rpms, not 1200, that will help also, plus x dimension was changed on the boat, 1 - 1/2 spacers went in to get up on plane quicker. I believe it was also bad gears, along with all the possible things that could have attribituted to the faliure, and most important, I'm the only one driving the boat, now, and yes, the 525's shouldn't be a problem.:D

Jassman 08-07-2003 07:16 AM

I believe Stans boat ran 86-87 and he has all the same stuff like gen and so forth, plus I think Pat was still dialing it in, so possibly a little more, Jeff:D
