I've seen both------Some do and some don't. Some exhaust tail pipes exit through the deck of the boat which would be above the swim platform and some of the 37's I have seen lately exit through the hull of the boat which would be below the swim plat form.

The new 2003 top deck boats have the exhaust coming out under the swim platform. It is nice if you need to stand on the platform while docking, but above the platform looks badass to me, it sounds better also.

Both 2003 decks had the under platform option.
